Always fun to make terrain for Warmachine. Recently got a doormat from Home Depot, cut it into little squares and walla, instant wheat fields! My friends and I used it in our games tonight and I'm pleased with how they look on the battlefield. Will probably have to trim the edges so it isn't so square and also adding a fence around the field would sell it in my opinion.
It was a little tricky placing a mini on the edge of the wheat field but what helped was putting a die (as in dice) under it and it'll stand level. One of these weekends I'd like to just make some terrain. Playing a game with terrain definitely adds to the enjoyment of it.
